Cameron Wayne Aurelius' Obituary
Cameron Wayne Aurelius “Preacher”, 23 years old of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma left us entirely too soon on Sunday, March 10, 2024. Cameron was born August 15, 2000 in Fort Smith, Arkansas to Franchesca Porter and later asked his dad Kevin Porter to officially adopt him. Growing up, he was an active member of Guts Church and loved the Lord with all of his heart. He wrestled for a season in middle school but stopped because he’d rather eat than cut weight for a match! He truly loved to play soccer with the Panthers and Alpha in middle school and high school. He has always loved motorcycles and got his license at 14. He graduated from Broken Arrow Public Schools and was active in the Air Force ROTC. He knew early on he wanted to serve our country and joined the Marines before graduation. He proudly served from 2018 to 2022 in San Diego and Camp Pendleton, California “so he could protect us and so we didn’t have to”. He was assigned to the Amphibious Assault Vehicle team and quickly became a leader and was proud to be the Lance Corporal Crew Chief of his Trac. He loved mentoring others and teaching, taking them under his wing. He was so excited when he became a Marine shooting instructor and competed in the Marine national shooting competition in Quantico - The Competition-in-Arms Program against the best shooters in the Marines. When he returned from service, he joined the Combat Veteran Motorcycle Association because it joined the two things he adored, motorcycles and vets. He also started working as an apprentice HVAC installer for Aire Serv of South Tulsa where his plans were to get fully licensed.
Cameron was survived by his parents, Kevin and Franchesca Porter, siblings Crystal Aurelius, Shelby and her husband (the brother he said he always needed) Garrett Prestwich, Kassidy Porter, Caleb Cagle, and Elizabeth Aurelius, his grandparents Robert and Cynthia Ross, his aunt and her husband, Heather and Lester Icke, so many cousins, the most loving partner and girlfriend a guy could have Stefania Bianchini (whom he intended to marry), and his sweet Remmy boy.

Thank you to family, CVMA family and friends for the mind boggling outpouring of love and support during this extremely difficult time. Words cannot express our gratitude for all the hugs, calls, texts, and messages offering love, help and support.
He was a continual ornery prankster who might have been a tad stubborn (lol). He messed with everyone and took it back in laughing stride, a true life of the party. Just as important, he was fiercely loyal to those he loved and he genuinely loved so many people with everything he had in him. He did everything in life with his whole heart and a huge smile. He was loving, strong, kind, thoughtful, joyful, genuine, full of life, hard working, with an infectious laugh and smile. He cared for everyone with a servant's heart and he honestly never met a stranger. Most importantly he loved the Lord with all of his heart and we cannot wait to see him again.
