Carl Forrest Edmundson Jr.'s Obituary
Carl Forrest Edmundson, Jr., 72 of Catoosa, Oklahoma passed from this life on Thursday, July 22, 2021 at his home in Catoosa. He was born September 27, 1948 in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma to his parents, Carl Forrest Edmundson and Wanda Lee Benson Edmundson. On November 12, 1983 he took the hand of Sharon Ann Baker and they were wed into marriage. The two of them shared in over 37 wonderful years together.
Carl was a graduate of Broken Arrow High School class of 1966 and earned his computer science degree from UCT Langston in 1996. Carl served his country in the US Navy, submarine division. He was an Owner Operator truck driver, pipe fitter, installation manager at Johnson Controls and retired from The City of Tulsa IT in 2012.
Carl is survived by his loving wife, Shari Edmundson of Catoosa, Oklahoma; two children, Shannon Edmundson-Daane of Claremore, Oklahoma and Eric Threadgill and his wife Lindsay of Wagoner, Oklahoma; two sisters, Billie Marie Edmundson of Catoosa, Oklahoma and Linda Gale Dovers of Catoosa, Oklahoma; six grandchildren, Jakob Threadgill, Adam Daane, Hannah Daane, Bayleigh Clayton, Jakob Pinka and Ana Gregg; two great-grandchildren, Rylend Threadgill and Daxtyn Threadgill; and numerous extended family members, cousins, and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents Carl and Wanda, sister, Wanda Jane Burnett and his faithful companion, Max the dog.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, July 28, 2021 at Timber Ridge Assembly of God Church in Catoosa, Oklahoma.
