Carlas “Bud” W. Abbott Sr. was born September 26, 1936 in Chouteau, Oklahoma and passed away November 20, 2014 in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. Bud was the 2nd of 3 children born to Carl and Marie Abbott. After graduating from Tulsa Central High School Bud began his career in the Air Force. Bud retired from the military in 1993 after serving almost 29 years. Bud married the love of his life Sharon Sue Martin on October 24, 1957 in Tulsa, OK. Bud was a member of the Silver Beavers Retirees. Bud was loving, caring, compassionate, giving and supportive. Bud loved fishing most all sports and especially OU football. Bud is survived by his spouse Sharon Abbott; son Carlas Abbott Jr. and his wife Rena; son Marty Abbott and his wife Renee; son Charley Abbott; grandchildren Bryan Michael Abbott and his wife Melissa; Kyndra Marsh and her husband Cody; Christopher Wayne Abbott; Lakelyn Beauchamp; McKayla Litterell and Savannah Cartmell; great-grandchildren Andrew , Mikayla and Sammy Abbott; Bella Mae and Alexis Jade Marsh and Easton and Tayton Beauchamp; sisters Wanda Marie Russell and Judith Ann Williams and her husband Chuck and numerous other family members and friends. Bud is preceded in passing by his parents Carl and Crickett Abbott and grandson Geoffrey Fisher.
