My favorite memories of Carol were our daily phone calls to one another. We visited mostly about our family, in which she had a deep love for each one us. Charles was her forever love and she dotted on her little dog, Dalilah.
Carol also enjoyed Sunday dinners, that we took turns preparing and gathering around the dining table. We prayed and shared a meal, along with an afternoon filled with family conversation.
I will miss sitting on Carol's front porch passing the time of day talking about anything and everything while watching the birds come to the feeder in her yard. She enjoyed talking about God and His goodness. She loved those around her deeply and for that, I am forever blessed that I was included in her circle of family. Carol will be missed but I am so thankful the separation is only temporary. Heaven rejoices in Carol's homecoming.
