Carol Hurst's Obituary
Carol Hurst, 72 of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma passed from this life on Thursday, January 28, 2021 at her home in Broken Arrow. She was born March 6, 1948 in Brigham City, Utah to her parents, Martella Theodore Nelson and Hazel Atkinson Nelson. She married the love of her life and started their venture together on December 19, 1969 in Salt Lake City, Utah and they spent over 51 years making lifelong memories.
Carol is survived by her loving husband, Thomas Hurst of the home; two children, Cammie Padgett and her husband Lance of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma and Chad Hurst and his wife Shannan of Tulsa, Oklahoma; one sister, Gloria Bennett and her husband Marvin of Logan, Utah; three grandchildren, Megan and Austin Padgett and Hallie Ragsdale; and many friends and extended family members. She was preceded in death by her parents, Martella Nelson and Hazel Rose; one son, Brad Hurst; and one sister, Ronda Nelson.
Visitation will be held from 3-6 p.m. on Wednesday, February 3, 2021 at Floral Haven Funeral Home.
Due to gravity of the circumstances and the result the pandemic has brought into our lives, current conditions have necessitated measures prohibiting a customary farewell. Funeral services will be held in Floral Haven's Rose Chapel with limited seating at 2:00 PM on Thursday, February 4, 2021 with interment immediately following at Floral Haven Memorial Gardens. For those that wish to watch the service via a live-stream feed, instructions are posted at the bottom of this obituary.
