Carol Louise Rodgers' Obituary
Carol Louise Rodgers went to be with her Lord and Savior early in the morning on May 4, 2023
Carol was born February 2, 1938 in Oklahoma City to Earl and Virginia Henry (deceased)
Carol was a graduate of Blackwell High School, attended Oklahoma University, and met the love of her life, Merlin Rodgers, on a blind date.
Carol and Merlin were married on May 29, 1960. Carol was a homemaker until her children were grown. Carol lived in England and Germany with her husband Merlin raising their children while working in the DODDS program. She later became a massage therapist in Sanger, Texas and Iowa Park, Texas. Carol and Merlin later moved to Broken Arrow, Oklahoma.
Carol loved serving the Lord and helping others. She used her in home massage business to minister to others. Carol loved spoiling all her grandchildren Andrea, Danielle, Matthew, Kaleb, Kolton and each of her great grandchildren Rylee, Allie, Elliot, Emmitt, Lane, and Madeline.
Carol is proceeded in death by her husband Merlin. She is survived by her daughter Debbie Jensen and her husband Frank Jensen of Broken Arrow, OK and son Merle Rodgers and his wife Diane Rodgers of Wichita Falls, Texas along with brothers Charlie, John, Euel and sisters Nelda and Jenny Sue and many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, a donation can be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held 2:00PM, Thursday, May 25, 2023, at Floral Haven Rose Chapel in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma.
