I am deeply saddened by the loss of a great person. I tried, unsuccessfully, to re-establish contact with Willy during the last year, and am so sorry to hear of her passing. She will always be fondly remembered for her sense of humor and her contagious laughter. You truly are "precious", Carol, and will be missed.
Carol was more than a friend, she was like family for 30+ years. We felt so fortunate to have that relationship and for so long. She was there to celebrate the good times and help us through the bad ones – whether living down the street or another city. Her celebration of life yesterday was so Carol – she would have loved it! Thank you for the pictures that sparked so many loving memories. This is not goodbye "Hon" but as you would say – well, my dears, it's time to go. Your spirit will be with us always!

God speed my friend. I will miss the heart to heart conversations over lunch or dinner when we kept each other up to date on life's happenings. I will remember always going to the pasture to absorb equestrian life…taking our dogs along for added joy. You are loved and will be missed.
I hadn't seen Carol since November of 1986 when I moved from Tulsa back to the Dallas/Fort Worth area but whenever I think of her I smile and laugh because it was that way, always, when spending time with her. Right now deep sadness but this will pass as I remind myself how priviliged I was to have been a friend of Carol – someone who shared my love for dogs.
I will always remember Carol's smile, laughter and her positive outlook. She called me "Annie Banannie", and would ask about my girls and of course, my dogs. It was amazing to see her bond with all dogs almost instantly, they knew she was a friend. Her eyes would sparkle with her great smile and she became almost child-like.Carol was a wonderful friend, I am grateful for her friendship and I will never forget her.
