Caroline Lee May's Obituary
Caroline Lee May (“Lina”) passed away on October 17, 2024.
Born in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, Lina grew up in Houston, Texas. In high school, she discovered a lifelong love of writing, and in 2017, she published one of her novels, Leah’s Garden.
Family was deeply important to Lina, and she was an integral part of her nieces' and nephews' lives, as well as their children’s. She moved back to Tulsa in the early 1980s. Alongside her writing, she was also a painter and enjoyed fishing and gardening. In 1988, she met her wife, Ann, with whom she shared 36 wonderful years.
A celebration of Lina’s life will be held at their home on November 2nd, from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m.
