Caroline Lorraine Needs' Obituary
Caroline loved so many things in her life but the most important thing was her family. She loved caring for others she was a caregiver for a very long time and loved every minute of it. When she became disabled and unable to work anymore it really crushed her but she found other ways to do things she loved like taking care of her home she could make anything into a home she wanted to be an interior decorator when she was younger and was able to do that for a while flipping houses. She’s from California so she loved the beach but never liked to get into the water which always made me laugh she always wanted to go back to the beach but to the one she loved the most was in Orange Beach, Alabama. Even though she never made it that was ok because the day she became a grandma was the greatest joy she could ever have next to being a wife and mother. She was very very close to her daughter they had a very strong bond as mother and daughter and when Rachel became an adult she wasn’t just her mom but her best friend and it went both ways they had each other no matter what. It meant so much to her to see her grow into the woman she is today married with 3 wonderful children. She loved Pete so much they have known each other and been together for 40+ years they had a very strong love that never broke no matter what she loved him so much he was her best friend In a different way than with Rachel. It was very special to her. Her son in law meant so much to her because he made Rachel into the woman she is today wife and mother he saved her little girl from herself she loved him dearly and would do anything for him they were close and could always talk if they needed someone to talk to he was her son. She absolutely loved her grandson he was her monkey and always will be he is 7 now and so thankful he got to know her and become so close she has 2 other little ones to Zanna who is 13 and Gus who is 11 she embraced them as her grandchildren and loved them dearly they had been apart of her life for 9 years when Rachel and Jesse got together they were just babies and she loved them they loved to have fun talks about random things and she loved doing things with all of them like art and other things she would come up with to keep them from being bored like board games she would always buy a new board game that we could all play together. You could never get her to sit down she always had to be moving and doing something productive to take care of her family she enjoyed being a homemaker and she loved to bake she would bake when she was bored and she loved to do art like paint or make things like Christmas ornaments, make jewelry or sewing stockings etc. She had a full life and was loved dearly by so many she had the best laugh and smile that could light up a room she loved to get dressed up to and go out then there was her love for shoes she had a huge love for shoes she had so many pretty shoes even though she couldn’t really wear them anymore she still loved shoes and anytime she got to get dressed up and put on a pretty pair of shoes she just loved it. She had very strong faith so I know she’s in heaven looking down on us and not in pain anymore. We miss her so much and know it’s not goodbye because we will see each other again in heaven! We love you momma!!!
