Carolyn Sue Benso's Obituary
Carolyn Sue Benso entered eternal rest May 11, 2012. Born the daughter of Charlotte and John Benso December 6, 1946 in Pittsburg, Kansas. Carolyn forged thru life despite her cerebral palsy, surgeries and physical struggles. She graduated from Columbus High School , attending Kansas State College and Joplin Business School. Early years traveled with her sister to Hawaii, throughtout Europe and South America. She moved to Broken Arrow in 1978. She helped care for her nephew and later became a Mary Kay consultant. Her determination, faith and love for people made her a survivor. She loved music especially “The Gaithers” and had a great singing voice herself. Talking and being with others is when Carolyn was the happiest. She loved people! Her humor and wit was like no one else! She for the past 7 and a half years, heart surgery,arthritis and suffered with diabetes which took her life, she had resided at Broken Arrow Nursing Home. Preceded in death, her mother Charlotte Benso. Survivors include her father John Benso, sister Colleen Benso, nephew Dr. Shawn Benso his wife Nicole and great nieces Kenzie and Bella Benso.
