Carolyn Hess' Obituary
Carolyn Gail Hess, 74, of Tulsa, Oklahoma passed away in her home on June 13, 2019, with her family by her side. She was born to the late Lloyd & Mildred King on March 8, 1945 in Fort Smith, Arkansas. Carolyn graduated from Central High School in 1963. She married Jack Hess August 12, 1964 and together raised their two sons. Carolyn is survived by her husband, Jack Hess of the home; Clarke Hess & his wife Traci of Tulsa; Kyle Hess & his wife Angie of Tulsa; her sister, Rhonda Cline & her husband Tony of Plattsburg, MO. She is also survived by her three grandchildren: Molly Hess, Jake Hess and Mackenzie Hess in addition to a host of nieces and nephews. Carolyn was predeceased by her parents and her brother, Roger King. Carolyn was an accomplished businesswoman and retired from St. John’s Hospital to spend more time with her family. She enjoyed genealogy, going to the casino and camping but her all-time favorite pastime was spending time with her grandchildren. Carolyn was immensely proud of her family, and leaves behind nothing but beautiful memories. • Visitation will be held at Floral Haven Funeral Home on Sunday, June 16, 2019, from 4:00 pm- 7:00 pm.• Celebration of Life Services will be held at 10 am on Monday, June 17, 2019 at the Floral Haven Chapel. Graveside services will immediately follow.• Reception immediately following services will be held at Akdar Shrine Center, 2808 S, Sheridan Rd, Tulsa, OK
