Carolyn Shelton's Obituary
SHELTON – Carolyn, Wife, Mother, Nana and Friend. Went home to be with her Heavenly Father on Saturday, September 20th. Born December 9, 1934, in Paris, AR to Lucien and Kittie Lineback. Raised in Forth Smith, AR and graduated from Fort Smith Northside. She retired as a Vice-President of State Federal Savings and Loan. She is survived by: J.B. her husband of 52 years; her daughter, Kathy and husband Larry Patterson of Edmond; her son, Mike and wife Carolyn Shelton of Broken Arrow; 3 grandchildren, Karli Patterson, Tyler Patterson, and Megan Shelton; sisters, Elaine Johnson, Betty Wakefield; and brother, Joe Lineback; and many special Lineback and Shelton family members. She is also survived by her friend of 40 years, Wanda Luna, and an extensive numbers of friends all touched by her love, laughter, and infinite kindness. She was preceded in death by brother, Lawrence Lineback. A memorial service will be held at Park Plaza Church of Christ, 5925 E. 51st, Tulsa, on Tuesday September 23 at 11 a.m.. In lieu of flowers, one may opt to donate in her memory to St Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital.Survived By:
