Lit a candle in memory of Carolyn Ruth Spellman
Carolyn was very generous with her heart when it came to her family and friends. She provided much support to her parents, her Aunt and Uncle as well as her brother through the toughest of times. She welcomed myself into her family when I married her daughter Kerri in 1999. She was full of energy, feisty, spunky, funny and was never afraid to speak her mind. She always had an open ear to our family and loved us and our children immensely. Our kids called her Grammy, which she reluctantly accepted with grace. She made many visits to my family and I as we have been away from home and in the Northwest for some time now. She loved hearing news and progress about our daily lives and had much input in our decisions when we were in need of her truthful advice. Carolyn, your new journey should bring you nothing but happiness. Your legacy and memories will be spoken of for generations to come within the family you fashioned. I promise to uphold my vows of marriage to your daughter and provide love and support to Mark and his family for years to come. We will also do everything we can to bring comfort to Auntie during the rest of her life.I love you as if you were still here today and will miss you and what you will always mean to my family. With much respect and until we meet again, Your favorite son-in-law, Johnny Floyd Cloud Sr (I know, I knowâ?¦ Iâ??m your only son-in-law, as you would say)
We remember Carolyn from our college days. We have lots of good memories. Our prayers are with the family. Larry and Bea Kennedy
Carolyn was always such a good friend. Just recently she went with me to several nursinghomes to help me pick out just the right one to place Bill. She knew the right questions to ask. I remember the many times we went to the fair, watched the hot air balloons take off and going to her wedding to Chuck. You are missed. Bonnie Mangan
