Carolyn Kaye Wirth's Obituary
Carolyn Kaye Wirth (Clark) was born into this world on the bright morning of November 14, 1942 in Mena, Arkansas as the oldest daughter of Charles and Ruth Clark. Although she lived most of her life in Oklahoma, as a young child, she spent many of her childhood years growing up in Mena, AR., and Sallisaw, OK. Her family relocated to Tulsa, OK when she was only 14 years of age where she met the love of her life, Carl Edward Wirth. Soon after she graduated in 1960 from Will Rogers High School, she married her high school sweetheart on July 21, 1961. In March of 1962 she became a mother for the first time of her baby girl, Angelia Kaye. Not long after Angelia's arrival, she would again give birth in June of 1963 to another baby girl, Dana Lynn. Life for Carolyn was shared with laughter and wrapped in the love she so tightly held for those she gave her heart to during her journey. She always told her family and close friends, 'I Love Too Much!'. Her great wisdom and insight would be the very cornerstone with which she raised her daughters, while diligently weathering her path's ups and downs with life's hidden blessings. She played an intricate part in the lives of her granddaughter and oldest grandson, while always including her two youngest grandsons in her ideas of fun and merriment! She was so honored to have had the time she was given in this world to share precious moments with her great-granddaughter. She loved her family with all she ever knew to do, always giving 100% of her heart and soul. Carolyn's life journey on Earth was completed on Thursday, October 28, 2010 at 11:35 AM, when God so graciously and gently lifted her fragile soul home. Carolyn is preceded in death by her parents, Charles Leroy and Ruth Clark; her soul-mate and spouse for life, Carl Edward Wirth and her oldest grandson, Anthony 'Tyler' Curtis. She is survived through life by her daughters, Angelia Kaye Boshuizen and Dana Lynn Ludwig; sisters, Lorri Lynn Hall, Charlene Clark; grandchildren, Amanda Kaye Curtis, Taylor Reed Ludwig, Parker Ryan Ludwig; great-grandchildren, Scarlette Noelle Brown and Sean-Tyler Alexander Chernisky; in addition to many extended family members and treasured friends throughout the years. A Celebration of Life 'In Loving Memory of Carolyn' will be held on Saturday, November 13, 2010 at 1 PM in the Floral Haven Family Center located at 6420 South 129th East Avenue, Broken Arrow, Oklahoma 74012. That's why it is so important to let those you love and hold close to your heart during your journey, know it. May peace be with you as we celebrate our mother's life journey and everything she meant to all whose lives she touched along the way. Thank you for celebrating Carolyn's life and how she had an impact on you! Life is good and the time to celebrate is now!' Please take this opportunity to view the poem below. No more would she be troubled With which her heart to roam.Though her days were shared with laughter, Her life was filled with love, She told us she was ready To journey up above.I'm tired and I'm weary, Please try to understand. An angel came down from Heaven With grace she took my hand.God gently lifted her fragile soul. He said, 'Have no fear. You're not alone.' They welcomed her with open arms. Mom knew then she was home.(This poem was written by Carolyn's oldest daughter, Angelia Kaye, in honor of her mother's life journey and to commemorate her entrance into Heaven’s Gate on Thursday, October 28, 2010 at 11:35 am.)
