Colleen Pritchard Case March 10, 1926 – June 8, 2016 90 Years of AgeColleen Pritchard Case was born to Edward Pritchard and Dora Ethel Pense Pritchard on March 10, 1926 in Jenks, Oklahoma. She was born on family land on top of a hill where current day 111th street runs into the west side of the Arkansas river. She grew up there, attending Jenks schools and excelling in almost every academic activity in which she participated. She graduated Jenks High School in 1944 as Class Valedictorian. Colleen took advantage of a Scholarship to attend the University of Tulsa, majoring in Spanish. She accepted a job drafting maps in downtown Tulsa where she befriended Lillian Case. Colleen was the first person to whom Lillian introduced her brother, Clyde Julian Case, following his return from WWII in 1945. Clyde thought she was the most beautiful woman he had ever met. They were married on August 31, 1946, and would spend just short of 70 years as husband and wife. Colleen was predeceased by her mother and father, step father Rollie Maxwell, half siblings Rollie C. Maxwell, Jr., Carmen Rose Williams; and brother-in-law Robert W. Cogswell.She is survived by her husband, Clyde; her son, Clyde Julian Case, Jr.; daughter, Suzanne and her husband, Asa L. Adamson; half sisters, Barbara Daniels and husband Charles, Jane Wallace and husband Jerry and Carmen’s widower, Arthur Williams; sister-in-law Lillian Cogswell and two nieces, Linda Nozal and husband, Paul of Houston, TX and Cindy Blaser and husband Fred of Enid, OK. ; two grandchildren and three great grandchildren.Donations may be made in lieu of flowers, to Eastland Baptist Church, 1835 S. 129th E.
