Catherine Mary Nesmith's Obituary
Catherine Mary Nesmith, 98 of Tulsa, Oklahoma passed from this life one day before her 99th birthday on Wednesday, June 16, 2021. She was born June 17, 1922 in O'Neill, Nebraska to her parents, Michael J. Timlin and Katherine Kubichek Timlin. She married the love of her life, Milton W. Nesmith on February 10, 1944 in Sacramento, California and they shared in over 53 years together before his passing in 1997.
Catherine is survived by two children, Mary Kay Hobson and her husband Norman of Wichita, Kansas and Gregory Michael Nesmith and his wife Therese of Missouri City, Texas; seven grandchildren, Michael G. Hobson, Alicia K. Stuart, Jennifer R. Yeager, Timothy M. Nesmith and his wife Noel, Katherine M. Bailey and her husband Jason, Kelly M. Lautzenheiser and her husband Matt and Reagan A. Nesmith; thirteen great-grandchildren, Charlie, Katlyn, Kendyl, Cody, Camden, Ellie, Kara, Doug, Ben, Kaleb, Garret, Landon and Braylen; and many friends and extended family members. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Milton W. Nesmith and one son, Steven J. Nesmith in 2008.
Funeral services are scheduled for 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, June 23, 2021 at Floral Haven Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation will start at 9:00 a.m. just prior to the service.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to the St. Francis Hospital or to a charity of one's choice.
