Catherine “Cathy” Marie Travis Yates, age 53, fought her battle until August 14, 2018 at her loving home, surrounded by her family and friends.Cathy was born June 5, 1965 in Natchez, Mississippi to Edward Ray and Marie Travis and was the youngest of six children. Cathy loved her family, her husband Randy, her “fur babies” Harley and Davidson, her mother, sisters, brothers, nieces and nephews, and all of her life long friends.She love and enjoyed riding behind Randy on their Harley. She loved their vacations to the beach. She always cherished being with her family and friends. Cathy had just an all around love of life. She had a way of making everyone feel loved. Her beautiful smile will always be remembered by all she touched. She was a beautiful, both inside and out and was so very loved.Cathy was preceded in death by her dad, Edward Ray, brother John Edward, and brother Robert Wayne Travis.Cathy is survived by her loving husband, Randy; mother Marie; sister Brenda and husband Charlie Ames of Arkansas; sister Debbie and husband Rusty Strader of Yale, Oklahoma; brother Raymond and with Angie Travis of Tulsa, Oklahoma; stepson Josh Yates; her “fur babies” Harley and Davidson; eleven nieces and nephews; twenty-one great nieces and nephews; and a life time of friends she called family.Funeral Services will be held in her honor on Tuesday, August 21, 2018 at Floral Haven Funeral Home.Family will greet friends on Monday, August 20, 2018 for visitation from 4 pm – 7 pm at Floral Haven Funeral Home. Pallbearers will be Travis Ames, Cody Ames, Josh Yates, Calvin Myers, Mike Travis, and Hunter Richards. Honoraries will be Raymond Travis, Charlie Ames, Rusty Strader, Larry Yates, and Robert Yates.She will be missed so much.
