“Cecil Berniece George passed away from this life on October 17, 2017 at age 89. She was born January 5, 1928 in Claremore, Oklahoma to Albert P. Kirkland and Agnes Ruth Kirkland. She was the beloved wife of Allen D. George whom she married at age 17. She enjoyed reading, needlepoint, and working crossword puzzles while she also enjoyed being with her family who loved her. She was preceded in death by her parents, 3 brothers and 2 children, Phillip Randolph George and Rhonda Victoria Bledsoe. She leaves behind her beloved husband of 72 years and 5 children, Lloyd A. George and his wife Janet of Kerrville, TX, Boyd A. George of Katy, TX, Marilyn Sue Burnette and her husband Jim of Bixby, OK, Alana Gayle Ringenberg and her husband Michael of Magnolia, TX, Marquita Ruth McCracken and her husband Rex of Cleveland, OK. She had 15 grandchildren, 31 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren. She is also survived by 2 sisters, Glenna Mae Forbes of Sand Springs, OK and Cora Davena Lacour of Denton, TX. She will be dearly missed by her family and all who knew and loved her. She loved her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and imitated his life in her own and taught her children of His saving grace. She is rejoicing with her loved ones who have gone before her and were anxiously awaiting her arrival. God has truly gained a beautiful angel in his heavens.”
