Cecil Mae Pelt's Obituary
Cecil Mae Pelt was born on August 3, 1935 in Akron, Ohio. Her parents were Cecil and Ethel Zirkle. She was the 6th of 8 children born to the union. Cecil attended Lakeview and Coventry Schools. Later, she went back to school in her late 40’s and graduated from Rhema Bible College. Cecil was a loving Homemaker. She was a devoted Christian and dedicated mother and grandmother who loved singing in choirs and teaching Sunday School. She enjoyed drinking black coffee, lunch and shopping with her friends and hymns & country music. Cecil also volunteered at the Broken Arrow Hospital throughout the years. Cecil will be sorely missed by all who knew and loved her. Cecil is survived by her children & their spouses, Charles & Terry Arrington of Dillsburg, PA, Brad & Carol Bond of Broken Arrow, OK and Colleen Pritchett of Broken Arrow, OK. She was a loving Grandmother to eight Grandchildren and five Great Grandchildren. She is also survived by her younger brother, Pastor Jerry Zirkle and his wife, Linda, along with sixteen nieces and nephews. Cecil was preceded in death by her first husband of thirty two years, Charles Arrington and her second husband of thirty years, Eugene Pelt. Mother and Father, Cecil and Ethel Zirkle, along with six siblings, Thelma Caslow, Dick Zrikle, Don Zirkle, Pastor Bob Zirkle, Norma Nelson and Reverend James Zirkle as well as one niece, Rosemarie Armer and one nephew, Jimmy Zirkle. Funeral Services will be 11:00 a.m. Monday, January 11, 2016, Floral Haven Rose Chapel, Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. Family will receive friends from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Sunday, January 10, 2016, Floral Haven Funeral Home, Broken Arrow, Oklahoma.
