Cecilia V. Mares' Obituary
Cecilia V. Mares, a resident of of Tulsa, passed away January 27, 2019 at the age of 91. She was born November 22, 1927 to Jose Vargas and Carmen (Elizarriaras) Vargas in Venus, Texas.Cecilia enjoyed sewing, traveling, spending time with her grandkids and pets, watching movies and plays, doing all sorts of puzzles such as Find a Word, Crosswords, and normal puzzles, and she enjoyed going to Pinots Pallet.She is preceded in death by her parents, Jose and Carmen Vargas, her brothers, Joe, Frank, and Salvador Vargas, her sisters, Concha Montanez and Mary Montavo, and her grandson, Tony Ethel.She is survived by her children, Judy Granthem, Becky Mares, Michael Mares, and Marcus Mares, her grandchildren, Jason Gilmore, Miranda Breaux, Sean Mares, Jordan Mares, Jamie Mares, and Landon Mares, and her great grandchildren, Trevor Tilley, Dallas Covey, Kayne Trammell, Amelia Trammell, Jayce Mares, Jaxon Mares, Eva Grace Breaux, and Beckham Mares is on the way.Viewing will be held Wednesday, January 30th from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Floral Haven Funeral Home.Services will be held at 12:30 pm Thursday, January 31st at Floral Haven Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Joseph Breaux officiating.
