Cecilia “Ann” Phillips
August 4th, 1943 - September 30th, 2025
Cecilia Ann Phillips, lovingly known as Ann, passed away on September 30, 2025, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, at the age of 82. She was born on August 4, 1943, in Tulsa to Cecil Schumacher and Juanita (Gordon) Coffey.
On October 7, 1977, Ann married the love of her life, Dannie Phillips, in Tulsa. Ann was known for her happy spirit and positive outlook, a woman whose laughter and warmth touched everyone she met. Family was the center of her world, especially her son, Clinton, whom she adored.
Ann had a love for flowers and gardening, and she enjoyed riding motorcycles in her younger years. She also had a sweet tooth for ice cream and never turned down a chance to relax and enjoy life. Ann carried that same joy into the way she lived—making every moment with her family and grandchildren meaningful. She was always active in Clinton’s life, from playing toys with him as a boy to ensuring her grandchildren were surrounded with love, care, and adventure. Christmas, in particular, was a magical time whenever Ann was involved.
When Clinton faced difficult times, Ann stepped up with her boundless heart. She cared for his children, making sure they were deeply loved and stayed connected to their father, arranging phone calls and visits as often as possible. Her devotion to her family was unwavering.
Ann also had a very generous spirit, always eager to treat her loved ones. She was known for her favorite saying, “You fly, I’ll buy,” a phrase that perfectly captured her selfless nature and her love of giving.
Ann is survived by her son, Clint Biffle, grandson; Shane Biffle, granddaughter; Jessica Downing and Lance, great grandchildren; Alexis and Isabell Biffle, Skylar Speece, and Daisy and Delilah Downing, siblings; Bobby Coffey, Steve Coffey, David Schumacher, Pat Johnson and Dale, and Dorothy Record, as well as a host of cherished nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her husband, Dannie Phillips and her siblings; Ronnie Schumacher and Linda Chesser.
Ann leaves behind a legacy of love, joy, and generosity that will be cherished by all who knew her. She will be deeply missed but forever remembered for her laughter, her kindness, and her unwavering devotion to her family.
