Chad Estes' Obituary
Chad Dale Estes, age 49, of Tulsa, Oklahoma, passed away unexpectedly Friday, March 15, 2024, in Tulsa. Born on September 7, 1974, in Arkansas City, Kansas, to his parents Eldon Lyle Estes and Leanitta Donelle Shanks Long. Chad grew up in Hutchinson, KS, where he graduated from high school and spent many summers and time with family and friends in Arkansas City, KS.
Chad was a natural-born salesman, following in his father's footsteps, dedicating his career to the art of selling automobiles. Chad enjoyed golfing, fishing and watching football, particularly the New England Patriots and Oklahoma State Cowboys. His infectious sense of humor and laugh brightened the lives of those around him, and his love for his children was palpable to all who knew him.
Chad is survived by his four children: Presleigh Estes of Manhattan, Kansas; Dalton Estes of Hutchinson, Kansas; Jacqueline Estes and Crew Estes, both of Tulsa, Oklahoma. He is also survived by his siblings: Joe Estes of Tulsa, Oklahoma; Kathi Grossenbacher and her husband, Jeff, of Bern, Kansas; and Gina Estes of Kansas City, Kansas. He is also survived by many friends and extended family members. He was preceded in death by his loving parents.
Chad will be deeply missed by his beautiful children, family, friends, and all who had the pleasure of knowing him. A celebration of Chad's life will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, March 23, 2024 at Calvary Chapel, 1001 S 3rd Street, Arkansas City, Kansas.
