Chandra LeeAnn Cole, age 50, was born in Bakersfield, CA, on October 7, 1973, and passed away on February 23, 2024. She moved to Oklahoma in the late 1980s. She is survived by her husband, Tre Barnes; her daughter, Keely Coats, and husband Christian; her son, Dillon Cole, and partner Jake Sears; her daughter, Molly Johnson, and partner Levi Moyer; her stepchildren, Ty Barnes and wife Hailee; Nathan Barnes and wife Ashley; and several grandchildren. Chandra leaves behind a legacy of unconditional love and support. She loved everyone for who they were, without judgment, and was a big ally. She was always about self-love and being who you are. Chandra’s genuine acceptance of others created a safe haven where everyone felt valued and appreciated. Her passion knew no bounds. She had a profound love for animals, finding solace and companionship in their presence. She once rescued a sparrow, with the fitting name "Birdie,”, that had fallen from the nest as a baby and gave it an entire lifetime of being spoiled and cherished with love. Music also held a special place in her heart, serving as a source of comfort and joy throughout her life. She had only the finest taste in music, listening to Queen, Led Zepplin, The Beastie Boys, and The Beatles, just to name a few.
During this time of grief, we are celebrating Chandra’s life with all her family and friends. A celebration of life will be announced at a later date. Though Chandra may no longer walk among us, her spirit will forever live on in the hearts of those she touches. She will be deeply missed and fondly remembered for her boundless love, unwavering acceptance, and radiant spirit.
