Charlene Kaye Binkley, a devoted nurse, loving mother, and cherished friend, passed away on May 13, 2023, in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, at the age of 76.
Charlene was born on October 13, 1946, in South Bend, Indiana. She dedicated her life to the noble profession of nursing, bringing comfort, care, and healing to countless patients. Charlene's compassion and dedication made a significant impact on the lives of those she treated, earning her the respect and gratitude of both colleagues and patients.
Throughout her nursing career, Charlene demonstrated exceptional skills, professionalism, and a genuine concern for the well-being of others. She was known for her unwavering commitment to providing the highest quality of care, always going the extra mile to ensure the comfort and recovery of her patients.
Beyond her professional achievements, Charlene was a beloved mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, and friend. She brought joy and love into the lives of her family and friends and will be remembered for her kind-hearted nature, gentle spirit, and unwavering support.
Charlene is survived by her sons, Lee Binkley and his wife Wendy, and Doug Binkley and his wife Melissa; grandchildren, Jacob and Joshua Binkley, and Kimberlee Chalakee and her husband Travis; great-grandchildren, Adlee Chalakee, and Saydee Chalakee; sister and brother-in-law, Carol and Wayne Burris; nieces, Allison Burris, and Annette Imhoffe. She will be deeply missed by her loved ones and all who knew her.
A memorial service to celebrate Charlene's life will be held at 12:30 PM, Tuesday, May 23, 2023, at Floral Haven Funeral Home Chapel. Family and friends are invited to attend and share their cherished memories of Charlene.
