Charlene June Brown's Obituary
Charlene June Brown, age 87, was born on January 30, 1929 in Los Angles, CA to her parents, Charles and Noalene Awalt. She passed away on June 15, 2016. Charlene worked for John Zinc as a secretary her entire career until retirement. Charlene loved to create! She would make amazing arts and crafts and hold small bazaars to sell her beautiful holiday decorations. Return customers came back every year to see what was new that she had created. That tickled Charlene to see the same faces each year. She made everyone that entered her home feel like they were a part of our family. She loved to cook and entertain for every occasion. Her Great-Grandchildren were her joy, each of them held a special place with their Nana. Charlene is preceded by her father and mother, Charles and Noalene Awalt, her sister, Von Ceil Smith, her husband Elmer Brown and her children, Charles Brown, Barbara Winfield, Deborah Brown. As well as many very special family friends: Glenn Hager, Wanda Collins, Ida Crow and many others. Charlene is survived by her grand daughter, Jennifer Wolff and husband James, her grand daughter, Elizabeth Sontag and husband Ronnie, and 6 great grandchildren, James Wolff Jr, Jonathan Wolff, Natalie Sontag, David Wolff, Haleigh Wolff, and Rex Sontag. Charlene will be dearly missed by her family and friends. Funeral Service Wednesday, June 22nd, 2016-3:00 pm-Floral Haven Funeral Home Chapel.
