Charles Ashley Archer's Obituary
Charles Ashley Archer, a resident of Tulsa, passed away too soon on December 6, 2018. He was 33 years old. Memorial services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Friday, December 14, 2018 in the Floral Haven Rose Chapel.Charles was born April 11, 1985 to Ruth Ellen (Bethea) Archer and David Warren Archer. On March 20, 2006, he married Julie; their son, Dylan, became the absolute joy and focus of Charles’ life.Charles held many jobs over the years, working most recently as a driver for a moving company. When he wasn’t working, he loved being on his bike, free as a bird, with the sun on his face and the wind in his hair. He “adopted” the people he loved as his own, and touched countless lives in countless ways. His departure leaves the world a little colder, a little duller, and a little less kind. He will be missed tremendously by more people than he could’ve imagined.Charles was preceded in death by his father, David; his stepfather, Emmet Spencer; his maternal grandparents, Nellie Joyce (Cady) and William Leon Bethea; his aunt, Mary Elise (Bethea) Peterson; and his uncle, Robert Howell Archer. He is survived by his wife, Julieann Archer; his son, Dylan; his mother, Ruth; his brothers, Leon Spencer (Itznia) and Jacob Archer (Jessica); his paternal grandparents, Patricia and Charles R. Archer; and many, many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
