Charles Mitchell Bell's Obituary
Charles Mitchell Bell, Jr of Broken Arrow passed away on November 19, 2018 in his home by natural causes. Charles was born in Newport News, Virginia on August 31, 1942 to Charles and Virginia Bell. On June 14, 1963 Charles married his long-time friend and sweetheart, Sandra Wells Bell.Charles enjoyed a long career that ended at Seizcor Technologies, a Raytheon Company. He was very accomplished and was able to use all of the skills he had acquired over the years to make improvements and to introduce new technologies to their operations.Charles touched many lives with his fun-loving, comical and generous nature. His all-time favorite thing was spending time with his family. He loved to travel when he was able, and he especially enjoyed the beach. He also loved cooking (and eating), music, attending concerts, and telling stories and jokes to his grandkids.Charles leaves behind a wonderful heritage and legacy in family. He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Sandra Wells Bell; his son, Shawn Bell and his wife Debbie, of Broken Arrow, OK; and his daughter, Lynn Bell, of Fort Worth, TX. Charles is also survived by his grandchildren, whom he adored; Hunter Bell of Tulsa, OK, and London Bell of Fort Worth, TX, and his daughter’s godson Levi Johanon of Fort Worth, TX. He is also survived by a sister, Rosemary Houseknecht and her husband Robert; brothers, David Bell and Ronald Bell, and many extended family members and friends. He was preceded in death by his brother Richard Brake.Charles was a leader in his career and family. He will be greatly missed by all. In lieu of flowers, you may make donations in Charles name to Aspen Park Baptist Church, Broken Arrow, OK.No public services are planned. A private family celebration will be held at a later date.
