Charles L. Carter's Obituary
Charles L. Carter (also known as Chuck) 62, of Broken Arrow, OK passed from this life on September 21, 2023. Charles was born in Lonestar, TX to William B. Carter and Sara Carter (Holmsley).
Chuck, in all fashion, was known as a teacher, mentor, coach, husband, dad, brother, son, friend, and above all someone you could count on. From giving amazing advice to being the funniest guy in the room. He was always one step ahead. Throughout his life, he used his intelligence and wits to achieve what he wanted, and he was good at it too.
He was an avid Dallas Cowboys fan. His blood ran blue, white, and silver. If there was a Dallas game on he was there rooting for them through the good times and the bad.
His love for hunting was always a passion. He looked forward every year to hunting season to see deer, make memories with his boy, and just enjoy “getting away”. Chuck saw life as a “goal” he made each step with precise decision and never questioned his own judgment.
Chuck will forever be missed by all his family, friends, and especially his fur babies.
Chuck was preceded in death by his first wife, Tammy Lynn Carter, and his Parents. He is survived by his wife, Melissa Carter, son Jonathan Carter and wife Taylor, brother Jimmy Carter and Jennifer, brother Buddy Carter and wife Pam, brother Michael Carter, and his wife Caroline, and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins; his special friends, the Rambin’s and the Tindell’s; and his fur babies, Sweetie, Landry, Ellis, Snowball, L.J., and a host of friends and loved ones.
