Charles Edward Chesney's Obituary
Charles was born September 25 1949 and passed away June 11th 2015. Charles was a machinist for FiberCast in Sand Springs, Oklahoma. Charles spent over 40 years of his life happily married to the love of his life Pamela Kay Chesney. Being a faithful and loving husband. Being a rock for her to lean on. Charles had also spent nearly 40 years as a supportive father to his sons Dan and Robert Chesney. Helping Pam raise them both to be the great family men they are today by always providing and being there for them regardless of the situation and giving great guidance wether they wanted it or not. Teaching them to always find a way to accomplish even the most difficult tasks. Charles spent the last fifteen plus years known as papa Charley. The title had been given to him by his adoring grandchildren who loved him dearly. The name papa Charley was a title he truly embraced with love and pride. We all love and will miss papa Charley and look forward to the day we get to see him again. “Poppa Charlie” will be dearly missed by his loving wife, Pam; children, Dan Chesney and wife, Sheila, and Robert Chesney and wife, Cheryl; grandchildren, Seth Chesney, Lauren Chesney, Larry Chidester, Dalton Chidester, Dillon Chidester, Alexa Chidester, and Aliyah Hendrix; and brother, Samuel Chesney. Charles is preceded in death by his parents; brother, Debie Chesney, Jr., and sister, Kathy Chesney. A celebration of life graveside will be held 10:00 A.M., Monday, June 15, 2015, in the Garden of Apostles, at the Floral Haven Memorial Gardens, in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma.
