Charles dedicated 30 years to serving in the Army, embodying the values of discipline and commitment. A passionate history enthusiast, he particularly loved learning about the Civil War, often sharing his knowledge with family and friends.
In his free time, Charles found joy in building models, fishing, and spending time with his loyal dog, Buddy. He had a deep appreciation for trains and cherished traveling to new places. Known for his wit, humor, and laid-back demeanor, he had an ornery side that brought laughter to those around him. His generous spirit meant he was always ready to lend a helping hand to anyone in need.
Above all, Charles adored his family, who will remember him for his big heart and the countless memories they shared. He leaves behind a legacy of love, kindness, and laughter.

Charles is survived by his wife Teresa, son Charlie Crane and wife Kami, son Jeremiah Crane and wife Kym, daughter Destiny Crane and fiancé Jordon Lewis, brother Randy Crane and wife Marilyn, brother David Crane and wife Debi, brother Mike Crane and wife Michelle, brother Scott Crane and wife Divosha, sister in law Barbara Crane wife of Tim, grandchildren Elijah Crane, Marissa Crane, Stryder Lindsey, Sophia Lindsey, Kaedence Lindsey, Conner Crane, Kreed Crane, Kannon Crane, Braxton Lewis, great-grandchildren Hudson Crane, Avery Crane, Carter Crane, along with numerous nephews, nieces, cousins, and loved ones
Visitation will be held Thursday, October 10, 2024 from 3-7 PM
Funeral services will be held Friday, October 11, 2024 at 11:00 AM at Floral Haven Funeral Home - Rose Chapel
