Charles Lee Dickens, a gifted graphic artist whose creativity brought joy to many, passed away on August 29, 2023, in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He was born on August 15, 1952, in Princeton, Illinois, to the late Thomas Jefferson and Margaret Ann (Coody) Dickens.
Charles's legacy lives on through his beloved wife, Gloria Dickens, who stood by his side throughout their journey together. He leaves behind cherished memories for his brothers, Bill Dickens and Dan Dickens, his sister, Treva Armstrong, and his nieces, Jami and Robin. His impact also touched the lives of numerous extended family members and friends who were captivated by his artistic talents and warm spirit.
A visitation to honor Charles's life will be held from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM on Sunday, September 3rd, at Floral Haven Funeral Home. A heartfelt funeral service, celebrating his contributions and the beauty he brought to the world, will take place at 12:30 PM on Tuesday, September 5th, at the Floral Haven Funeral Home Chapel.
Charles's passion for his craft and his ability to translate his imagination onto canvas were truly exceptional. His artwork reflected not only his skills but also his inner thoughts and emotions, leaving an indelible mark on all who experienced his creations.
