Charles Raymond Ellsworth Sr's Obituary
Charles Raymond Ellsworth Sr., age 92, passed away on December 29, 2014 in Sand Springs, Oklahoma. Charles was born on November 1, 1922 in McLoud, Oklahoma to his parents Delbert and Caladonia Ellsworth. He was the 4th born out of 8 children. Charles attended his general education at Beggs and Newton High School. He served with the U. S. Army from 1942 to 1944 during WWII in Asiatic Pacific Campaign. He obtained PFC ranking and received the Purple Heart, bronze star, and many more medals. He married Elsie Baker on January 23, 1945 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Charles is survived by his wife Elsie V. Ellsworth, his four children Janice C. Allen, Charles R. Ellsworth Jr., Robert Ellsworth, and Thomas K. Ellsworth, his fourteen grandchildren, his thirty three great grandchildren, and one great great grandchild and one more in April. Charles was preceded in death by his parents Delbert and Caladonia Ellsworth, his brothers Levoy and John Ellsworth, and his sisters Margaret Eaton, and Opal Bryan.
