Charles Leonard Farrar, 74, of Tulsa, OK passed away Wednesday, October 30 at Hillcrest Hospital surrounded by his family. Charles served in the U.S. Air Force for 22 years and is a Vietnam Veteran. The memory of Charles as a caring, loving, dependable and hard working husband and father will live on in the hearts and minds of his family, may he find peace and happiness with God our Lord. Charles is preceded in death by his parents Lester and Velma Farrar of Tulsa, OK; brother Delbert Farrar of Tulsa, OK; sister Mildred Lindsay of Tulsa, OK; sister Juanita Beckstrom of Sacramento, CA. Charles is survived by his wife of 52 years, Chanpen V. Farrar from Surin, Thailand, currently of Tulsa, OK’ Son Charles E. Farrar and wife Elizabeth of Greenville, NC; daughter Debbie Farrar Sampath and husband Vasu of Southlake, TX; 5 grandchildren Jordan of Burleson, TX, Chelsea and Justin Farrar of Greenville, NC, Malini & Priya Sampath of Southlake, TX; brother Ralph Farrar of Tulsa, OK and sister Kathryn F. Smith of Owasso, OK.
