Charles C. Gosvener's Obituary
Charles C. Gosvener was born April 17, 1945 in Checotah, Oklahoma and passed away July 7, 2017 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Charles was a fun loving and outspoken guy; he never hesitated to tell it like it was! He never met a stranger; and had a knack for making you feel like you were the only person that mattered when he talked with you. Charles absolutely loved being a hairstylist because it gave him the opportunity to meet and visit with people. When he wasn’t working he loved doing work with the school for the blind. He did several hair shows, helped with the Miss Oklahoma pageants for over 18 years; he taught dancing lessons and just did his best to help anyone who needed anything. Charles loved his family and spending time with them meant the world to him. Charles will be dearly missed by everyone who knew and loved him. Charles is preceded in passing by his parents, Clarence and Fern Gosvener and his brother, Edward Marshon Gosvener. Charles is survived by his loving partner, Michael Arnold; his siblings, Scottie Altmann and her husband Richard, Gene Gosvener and his wife Debbie, Jim Gosvener and Maryann Vanmeter, LeVeda Gosvener and numeorus other family members and friends. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Floral Haven Funeral Home to help with the funeral and cemetery costs. There will be a Celebration of Life service 12:30 p.m., Monday August 7, 2017 at Floral Haven Funeral Home Chapel
