Charles Kerk Grady (pronounced: JOORG KLOO-nee)'s Obituary
Charles 'Chuck' Kerk Grady, age 61 entered this world on March 5, 1963, in Anaheim, California. He passed this life on July 27, 2024, in McAlester, Oklahoma, leaving a lasting and loving legacy with many people. Chuck was a vibrant and humorous soul whose love for life was evident in all he did. He was known for his charming and personable nature, making friends wherever he went and never meeting a stranger.
Chuck was a proud homecoming king and basketball star during his high school years, showcasing his athleticism and charisma. His passion for sports continued with a love for watching football and basketball, which he enjoyed sharing with his family and friends.
A family man; he absolutely loved his children and grandchildren. His playful spirit would always show by play wrestling and dunking on his daughters and grandchildren. Chuck had a deep appreciation for nature, hiking and fishing. He loved animals and deeply cared for many dogs and cats throughout his life.
Charles was musically inclined, enjoyed listening to different genres and could play the guitar, often filling his home with melodies that brought joy to those around him. He enjoyed watching anything war-related, whether serious or comedic, and in his younger years found solace and inspiration in writing poetry.
He was preceded in death by his mother Carolyn Grady, and sister Toni Wommack.
Chuck is survived by his wife Jeannie Grady; children Sabey Grady, Grace Nadeau, Tristan Noble, and Alyssa Duvall; grandchildren Zoe Nadeau, Xander Nadeau, and Andi Duvall; sister Tracie Isenhower and brother Billy Grady; along with other family members and friends.
Chuck Grady's memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew him, and he will be deeply missed by all who had the pleasure of crossing paths with him. His legacy of laughter and love continue to inspire and uplift those who were fortunate enough to know him.
A visitation will take place on Friday, August 2, 2024 from 3PM-7PM at Floral Haven Funeral Home. A celebration of life service will be held on Saturday, August 3, 2024 at 3PM at Floral
Haven’s Rose Chapel with Pastor James Lacey officiating.
