Skyler was a friend of mine from back in the late 80's & early 90's. We were in the Army together in Augsburg, Germany, 712th Military Intelligence Battalion, 701st Military Intelligence Brigade (Field Station Augsburg). His old roommate and I were trying to find him when he came across his obituary. Our hearts are heavy as we remember our friend and brother in arms. We were all good friends and had some really great times. Skyler will be sorely missed, but we promise he will NEVER be forgotten!
Skylar was on my guard detail at Field Station Augsburg at the onset of Operation Desert Storm. He was a high-spirited young man, athletic and had a sense of humor…far too early for him to leave us. He will never be forgotten. – Krista Ochs, 1SG, USA (Ret)
