Charles Norman "Charlie" Nobles' Obituary
Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, April 25th, 2026, at 12:30PM in the Floral Haven Funeral Home Chapel.
Charles Norman “Charlie” Nobles passed away on April 3, 2026, in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
Born in Deport, Texas, to Gus and Rena Nobles, Charlie lived a life defined by kindness, service, and devotion to family. He served honorably in the United States Air Force. He graduated from the University of North Texas and was recognized as an outstanding alumnus in 1985.
He was active in his community, including an appointment to Oklahoma Board of Juvenile Affairs, served as a treasurer of his Homeowner’s Association and was honored by his Homeowners Association with a park named after him.
Charlie enjoyed gardening, genealogy, fishing, and working out. Above all, he was a devoted family man, considering his family his greatest accomplishment. His grandchildren, who lovingly called him “Boppie,” brought him great joy.
Along side his passions in life Charlie enjoyed coaching little league baseball giving young kids life lessons and unforgettable memories on the ball field.
He will be remembered for his gentle nature, service, and the love he shared with those around him.
He is preceded in death by his wife of 55 years Ann Nobles who passed in 2008, significant other Virginia Rhodes who passed in 2023 and parents.
He is survived by his daughter Kathy Gray, son Mark Nobles, son Bruce Nobles, brother Pat Nobles and wife Joyce, grandchildren Nathan Gray, Laura Klenda (Bear), Andrew Gray (Brett), great-grandchildren Naomi Klenda, Norah Klenda, along with numerous friends and loved ones and also longtime caregiver Dena Edwards.
