Charles "Chuck" Norton's Obituary
Charles “Chuck” Norton died March 10, 2007, In Bristow at the age of 58. Chuck was born January 27, 1949, in Tulsa, Oklahoma to Charley and Ora Elmore-Norton. In 1968, Chuck enlisted in the U.S. Marines, and served his country in Vietnam. In recent years, he was employed as a truck driver. Chuck loved fishing and spending time outdoors. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends. Chuck loved children and spent a great amount of time spoiling them. Chuck was dearly loved and will be missed by all that knew him. Chuck was preceded in death by his parents, Charley and Ora Funeral servcie was held at Floral Haven Funeral Home Chapel in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, Thursday, March 15, 2007, 3:00 P.M., with Reverend Gene Jackson, officiating.Survived By: son, Charles N. Norton and wife Janie of Bristow, longtime companion, Lola Self, two sisters, Connie Hurtubise and husband Phil of Broken Arrow, Patricia Rice and husband Ed of Sand Springs, and one brother, James Norton of Tulsa, and many nieces and nephews
