Charles Edward Wise's Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Charles Edward Wise, age 48 of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. Charles passed away peacefully at Ascension St. John's Medical Center on January 17, 2026, surrounded by his loved ones.
Charles was born on March 24, 1977 to the late Charles E. Green (Deceased) and Patricia A. Wise Pharms of Beckley, West Virginia in which she resides. Charles was a devoted husband and father, whom cherished all of his family endlessly. He loved being a dad and spending special times with his kids.
Some of the favorite things he enjoyed doing is listening to all types of music, watching good movies and locking into a good video game in which he played with his friends and kids to create laughter and memories.
Charles worked as a dump truck driver for a number of years as well as completing a certification in HVAC services. He enjoyed using his hands and knowledge in repairing anything mechanical.
He is proceeded in death by his grandparents Jasper and Virginia Wise, Roosevelt and Claudia Green, his Aunt Annie Jones, his father Charles E. Green, his Uncle Jasper Wise Jr., his cousin Gerald Jones, his cousin Jonathan Woods and brother-in-law Steven Ceaser.
He is survived by his wife of 26 years Amelia Wise, his mother Patricia Wise Pharms, his Aunt Mickey James and his children Dashawn, Gabriel, Nelysia, Kalvin, Keandre, Brandon, Camron and Matthew, his Mother-In-Law Barbara Chenaut, brother-in-law Leroy Ceaser of Arkansas, brother-in-law Nathaniel Ceaser of Michigan, Aunt and Uncle Ted and Billie Green, his Aunt Millie Cox and family, and a host of extended family.
Our heart felt thanks and appreciation goes out to Ascension St. John's Medical Center of Tulsa, Oklahoma (ICU Dept and 14th Floor) and St. John's Rehab Center of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. A sincere thank you also goes out to the numerous others that have expressed non stop support and help through the transitional period. -A
