Charlotte was born on July 14, 1959, in Huntingburg, Indiana, to Johnny Morgan and Ruthie Houchin. She spent her childhood years in Tennessee, where she graduated from high school before eventually making Oklahoma her home.
On October 26, 1979, Charlotte married the love of her life, Wilbur L. Woods Jr., in Pryor, Oklahoma. Together they built a life centered on family, faith, hard work, and love. Charlotte spent many years working in the food industry, where she served as a manager and was known for her strong work ethic, leadership, and caring nature.
Pryor remained Charlotte's home for most of her adult life. In later years, she moved to Broken Arrow to be closer to and live with her daughter, where she treasured the time spent with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
Charlotte found joy in life's simple pleasures. She loved spending time with her family, reading a good book, working word puzzles, watching football and boxing, and volunteering her time at the school library at Aspen Creek Elementary. Her kindness, generosity, and willingness to help others left a lasting impression on everyone who knew her.
Charlotte was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Wilbur L. Woods Jr.; her father, Johnny Morgan; her stepfather, Ray Houchin; her mother, Ruthie Houchin; and her sister, Marina Holmes.
She is survived by her daughter, Shavon Ostrander; her son, Derek Woods; her siblings, Rex Morgan, Scott Morgan, Tammy Gann, and Chrissy Price; her cherished grandchildren, Dakota Whitlock, Savannah Everett, Emma Ostrander, Abbigail Ostrander, Kinlee Ostrander, Adeline Ostrander, and Josie Dozier; and her treasured great-grandchildren, Sadie Everett and Forest Whitlock.
