Chau Thi Nguyen's Obituary
On the morning of June 12, 2022, Chau Thi Nguyen, passed away peacefully in her sleep at the age of 67 years old. Chau was born January 18th, 1955, in Quang Ngai, Vietnam to Nguyen Van Thong and Le Thi Ngat.
Chau was a resilient woman, immigrating to the United States as a refugee in 1981. She was a woman of faith, and always put her family before herself. She worked multiple jobs to ensure that she gave her children every opportunity that this country afforded, while still supporting her family back in Vietnam. She was a loving mother who cared so deeply for her family. Chau was a generous soul, and always made sure to share with those less fortunate. In her last few conversations, she reminded her husband to, “help people.”
Chau Nguyen was preceded in death by her father, Nguyen Van Thong.
Chau Nguyen is survived by her loving husband of 49 years, Hai Trung Nguyen; children Tino Lam and Linh Lam, Nam Nguyen and Christine Pak, Binh Nguyen and Lana Faux, Cuong Nguyen and Sarah Powell; grandchildren Megan Lam, Annelise Nguyen, and Blake Nguyen; mother, Le Thi Ngat; and siblings Anh Nguyen, Guong Nguyen and spouse, Buu Nguyen and Thu Nguyen.
The viewing will be June 15th, 2022, at 5:00 pm at Floral Haven Funeral Home in Broken Arrow, OK, with a rosary service to follow at 7:00pm.
Funeral services will be held at Saint Joseph Vietnamese Catholic Church June 16, 2022, at 10:00am with interment to follow at Calvary Cemetery in Tulsa, OK.
