Cherry Ann Fowler's Obituary
Cherry Ann Fowler, age 69, passed away on January 20, 2025, in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She was born on January 1, 1956, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, to John Clark and Opal Mae (Varnell) Duncan.
Cherry Duncan and Russell Allen Fowler were married on August 28, 1972, in Drumwright, OK. Cherry had a zest for life and found joy in many activities. She was a homemaker for most of her life and loved engaging in crafts and watching craft shows. She was also a passionate baker, especially known for her delicious chocolate chip cookies. She loved cooking for her family and spending time with her girls and grandkids. And of course, going to the casino with her sister Linda!
Cherry is survived by her daughters, Christi Nelson and her husband Clint, and Rachel Embree and her husband Lance. She leaves behind her cherished grandchildren: Baylee Roberts and her significant other JT Torresdey, Trenton Roberts, Drek Wheeler, Garrett Embree, and Gage Embree. Cherry was also blessed with a great-granddaughter, Charlee Torresdey. She is further survived by her siblings, Linda Chapman and her husband Bryan of Sedgwick, KS, Terri Owings and her husband Tom of Wichita, KS, Janet Fuller of Wichita, KS, and Phillip Owens and wife Lana of Goddard, KS; sister-in-law, Karen Duncan of Wichita, KS; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Cherry was preceded in death by her parents, John Duncan and Opal Dooty; her beloved husband of 43 years, Russell Fowler; her brother, Jimmy Duncan; and her sister, Kay Gibbs.
Cherry's warmth, creativity, and love for her family will be deeply missed. Although a memorial service is not scheduled at this time, her family and friends will always hold her close in their hearts.
Rest in peace, Cherry. Your legacy of love and joy will continue to inspire all who knew you.
