Cheryl and me met at Lake Alfred, Florida. I was 22 and she was 17, yet we hit it off right away. I remember we was all sitting in a restaurant drinking pops and in walk two Florida Highway Patrol's. I was so high and made a joke. I told everyone that they looked like Yogi and Boo-Boo. Everyone busted out laughing. But it was true because one of them was tall with a smokey hat on, and the other one was short with a smokey hat on. Me and Cheryl married on 6.27.77. Our marrage lasted 22 years,before I gave her a divorce. Only because I committed the worst sin you could adultery. But me and Cheryl had a friendship that lasted till the very last week she lived and I told her I still loved her.
