Cheryl Ann Durant Raglin, 68, passed away on November 21, 2025, in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She was born on July 27, 1957, in Bristow, Oklahoma, to Joyce Marie Nash and Charles Fitzgerald Durant. Cheryl grew up in Bristow and Tulsa, surrounded by a large family who loved her deeply.
A graduate of Bristow High School and Draughon’sBusiness College, Cheryl built a strong professional career. Sharp, detail-oriented, and known for her brilliant math skills – she handled her work with precision and excellence.
Cheryl lived a vibrant and joyful life. She loved cooking, especially her famous smothered peppered steak and green peppers; she loved traveling,dancing, planting, dressing up, and attending rodeos. She adored her plants and took pride in making everything around her beautiful. She had a gift for style and an unforgettable eye for detail – you couldn’t move a pillow on her bed without her knowing.
She was known for her kindness, compassion, and willingness to give people a chance. She was forgiving, hardworking, and handled her responsibilities with the confidence and grace of someone who truly “handled her business like a boss.”
Cheryl shared nearly 40 years of companionship, love, and laughter with Bruce King Raglin.
She is survived by her husband Bruce King Raglin, mother Joyce Marie Nash, siblings Debra Cooper, Michael Cooper, Lena Dennis, Charles Dennis, Roger Dennis, Lisa Smart (Delricko), Timothy Edwards (Lartricia), and Robert Edwards Jr (Fondra) – and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends who will forever cherish her memory.
Though she is no longer here to brighten a room with her smile, share her stories, or make her famous meals, her legacy lives on in every life she touched, every act of kindness she showed, and every moment of beauty she created.
Cheryl deserved the whole world – and she gave the world the very best of herself.
