Cheryl Ann Shanks' Obituary
Cheryl, “Sheri” Ann Shanks, resident of Broken Arrow, passed away January 8th 2017, at the age of 75. She was born in Ft. Dodge, Iowa on Sept. 4th, 1941, to Charlotte and Arthur Kirchhoff. She was preceded in death by parents, Arthur and Charlotte Kirchhoff. She is survived by her husband of 56 years, Jerry Shanks. Sons, Rod and Rex Shanks, and grandson Joey Shanks. She is also survived by her sister, Jeannine Scott of San Jose, CA. and brother, Alan Kirchhoff of Flower Mound, TX. Sheri was a devoted wife, mother, daughter and sister to her family. She was a long term resident of Broken Arrow having lived there for 46 years. This included over a 30 year career working for Wal-Mart Inc. Funeral Services will be held Monday, Jan. 16th at 10am at Floral Haven Funeral Home in Broken Arrow. The family ask that in lieu of flowers, please make donations to the American Heart Assoc. or Wounded Warriors Project.
