Cheryl Marie Simpson's Obituary
Cheryl Marie Simpson was born January 13, 1949 in Tulsa, Oklahoma and passed away August 31, 2014 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Cheryl was the third of four children born to Kenneth and Vivian Troxell. Growing up Cheryl attended Porter Elementary School; Clinton Junior High and graduated from Webster High School. After graduating from high school Cheryl attended Draughons School of Business. Cheryl began her career in Data Processing after graduating from college and worked in the industry until retirement in 2007. Cheryl married Danny Simpson on March 9, 1968 in Nowata, Oklahoma. Together the couple raised a beautiful daughter Carissa. The proudest moments of Cheryl’s life were the birth of her daughter and later her grandchildren. Family was most important to Cheryl and she cherished all the times she spent with her grandchildren. When Cheryl wasn’t spending time with family she loved to paint ceramics. Cheryl had the heart of a servant; she loved helping anyone with anything she could. Cheryl will be remembered for her beautiful, thoughtful, loving and compassionate personality. She will be deeply missed by her family and friends. Cheryl is survived by her spouse Danny G. Simpson; daughter Carissa and her husband Jason Garrett; grandchildren Ashlyn, J.T and Morgan Garrett; brother Kenneth Wayne Troxell; sister Shirley Eichenberger and numerous nephews, nieces and other family members. Cheryl is preceded in passing by her parents Kenneth and Vivian Troxell; brother Karl Troxell and nephew Robert Young.
