Komonce, Cheyenne's Obituary
Cheyenne Komonce, beloved mother, daughter, sister, and fiancée, passed away on April 29, 2025. She leaves behind a legacy of love, strength, and unwavering loyalty to those she cherished.
Cheyenne is survived by her devoted fiancé, Cody Butler; her beloved son, Sebastian Butler; her loving parents, Tina Komonce and Jon Komance; and her siblings, Montana, Hanna, Checotah, and Clayton. She was preceded in death by her precious daughter, Emma Butler.
With a heart of gold and an unshakable determination, Cheyenne was the kind of person who would give the shirt off her back to someone in need. She fiercely protected those she loved, standing up for them without hesitation. Her father affectionately called her “Weezer,” a name that carried the warmth and affection of their bond.
Cheyenne was incredibly independent, hardworking, and relentless in her drive to build a life for herself and her family. She thrived on making her own way, working hard, and finding success through sheer determination. Never one to conform to expectations, she was not a girly girl growing up—she preferred to carve her own path.
Though she left this world too soon, the love she gave and the strength she shared with those around her will remain forever. Her family and friends will carry her spirit in their hearts, remembering the fierce, loving, and loyal woman who would go to battle for those she loved.
She will be deeply missed but never forgotten.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that you make donations to the Ronald McDonald House in Cheyenne's name.
