Christine Alice Gresh May 16, 1932 – May 30, 2016 Known as Chris, Christine Alice Gresh died Monday, May 30, 2016 in Tulsa, Oklahoma, at the age of 84. Born on May 16, 1932, in Holdenville, Oklahoma, to Ervin and Bessie Barnett, Chris was the second eldest of five girls. Chris graduated from Webster High School in 1950 and married Gordon P. Gresh. Together, they had three children: Donald Paul Gresh; Jayme Lee (Gresh) Mclaughlin; and Robert Gordon “Bob” Gresh. A devoted and caring wife and mother, Chris also worked professionally as the office manager for a group of neurological surgeons. She also worked for Dr. Varsha Sika and later Dr. Anthony Billings, retiring in 2000. Chris was preceded in death by her parents, and 3 of her sisters: Betty (Barnett) Manley; Mary (Barnett) Evans; and Doris (Barnett) Martin. She is survived by her husband, her youngest sister, her 3 children, 8 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren. Funeral service will be Thursday June 2, 2016, at 3 PM.
