Christine Vera Hanover's Obituary
Christine Vera Hanover, beloved mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and friend; born Sunday, April 29, 1923, in Couch, Missouri to her loving parents, William M. Bray & Dottie A. (Gage) Bray; went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, July 12, 2016 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Christine or better known as “Teen” by her beloved family; served her country honorably and proudly in the United States Army. After serving her country Christine relocated to Tulsa, Oklahoma where she was introduced to her future husband. In October, 1947 Christine and the love of her life married and started a family in Tulsa, Oklahoma and enjoyed fifty-two years before her husband was called home to be with the Lord in August of 1999. Christine enjoyed many things in her free time such as Bible reading, working in her garden taking care of both her vegetables and her beautiful flowers and watching birds. What Christine truly enjoyed was spending time with her family and taking care of them. Fond memories will always be cherished of Christine as she will always be remembered for truly being an angel on earth; she will be deeply missed by all those who had their lives touched by her. Christine is preceded in death by her beloved husband of fifty-two years, Lloyd Raymond Hanover; her loving parents, William & Dottie Bray, her siblings, Lawrence Bray, Bill Bray, and Calma Tuggle. Christine is survived by her loving children, Raymond Hanover & wife Carolyn, Cheryl Rydin & husband Roger, Phillip Hanover, Larry Hanover & wife Rhea; her ten dearly loved grandchildren, Melinda Forsyth & husband Kenny, Kimberly Campbell & husband Casey, Laura Gardenhire & husband Kevin, Jeremy Rydin & wife Heather, Christopher Hanover and wife Elizabeth, Matthew Rydin, Steven Rydin, , Adam Rydin, Rocky Hanover and Alyssa Rydin; her thirteen precious great-grandchildren; her sister, Lavona Rodgers and numerous nieces, nephews, other loving family members and friends.A visitation will be held Thursday, July 14, 2016 from 5:00PM to 8:00PM at Floral Haven Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held Friday, July 15, 2016 at 10:00AM at Floral Haven Funeral Home in the Chapel; followed by a graveside service at Floral Haven Memorial Gardens. Services have been entrusted to Floral Haven Funeral Home, Crematory & Memorial Gardens, 6500 S 129th E Avenue; Broken Arrow, Oklahoma 74012.
