Dandridge, Christopher Daniel's Obituary
Christopher Daniel Dandridge, son of John and Dorothea Dandridge, was born in Queens, New York on July 8th, 1971. He departed this life in Tulsa Oklahoma on May 27th, 2025.
Survivors – Father John Dandridge and wife Claudette, his Mother Dorothea Dandridge, brothers David Dandridge and wife Katherine, and Bill Dandridge and wife Lisa, nieces Emma Bowen and husband Jake, and Olivia Dandridge, nephews Will Dandridge and Seth Dandridge.
At the age of eight, Chris and his family moved from Long Island New York to Tulsa Oklahoma where he attended Fulton Elementary School, Skelly Middle School, and graduated from Nathan Hale High School in 1989.
From the day that Chris could walk, his lifetime passion was centered on his love for cars. As a child he spent much of his time playing with his Matchbox cars and drawing pictures of “hot rods”. He had a natural skill for artwork. He spent all his career working in the auto industry and when not at work he was likely at a racetrack or watching NASCAR on a Sunday afternoon. Chris absolutely loved it when someone would ask him a question about cars, and he was ready to offer lots of advice at any time.
Chris was known for his incredible generosity, always willing to offer money or support to anyone who needed it. One of his personal joys throughout his life was giving gifts to family and friends.
He loved his family and his first question during a phone call was to ask how his nieces and nephews were doing and, “what were they up to these days”. He always talked about how proud he was of each of them.
